> Photo2Stitch (photo2stitch.com) is an online converter that turns photos
> into counted cross stitch, needlepoint (tapestry), and plastic canvas
> patterns. The pattern preview is free; paying unlocks an editable digital
> canvas and printable chart.

## What it does

- Converts any JPG, PNG, or WebP photo into a counted embroidery chart.
  Transparent-background PNGs convert cleanest (all colors go to the subject).
- Maps colors to real DMC thread codes (2-50 colors, user-selectable) and
  runs confetti reduction, merging stray single stitches into neighbors.
- Supports cross stitch (Aida 11/14/16/18-count), needlepoint/tapestry
  (mono canvas 12/14/18 mesh), and plastic canvas (7/10/14-count) projects.
- After purchase, an editable digital canvas lets users repaint individual
  stitches, swap thread colors globally, view a bill of materials with thread
  quantities, and export a printable PDF chart with a color key.
